Hey Amigos! It’s almost time for the 4th annual Holiday 100. The goal is to stay active over the holidays! Doesn't matter where in the world you are, just run/hike/jog 100 miles between Thanksgiving and New Years Day.

It is all about self accountability. And the nice thing is you can run, jog, or hike on your own schedule and do it anywhere you like. It is up to you!

This will be the 2nd year now where we will be adding a cash donation mandatory to participate. We found that it makes The Holiday 100 a little more competitive and helped motivate all of us to get out and get our miles in. Also, a donation goes along with that charitable holiday spirit.

This year it will be $25 to enter and the first individual to log their 100th mile can donate the winnings to their charity/cause of choice. For everyone who doesn’t finish by Jan 1st will need to send another $25. That will go to the charity that the second place individual chooses.

Here is what you need to do if you want to join in:

  • Venmo (@andrewstout82) OR PayPal (andrewstout82@gmail.com) $25

    • (Ill hold the cash until the first person hits 100 miles. I will then send the money to that person, so they can donate it to their charity of choice. The same will happen on Jan. 2nd. Everyone that did not finish their 100 miles will send another $25 and that will all go to the charity of the individual that got second place.)

  • Add your name and charity of choice to HOLIDAY 100 - 2020 Google Spread Sheet

  • Record each run on Strava, Nike+, or MapMyRun and then share on the Holiday 100 - 2020 Facebook Group

  • Plug your miles in on the HOLIDAY 100 GOOGLE SPREAD SHEET after each activity. The Google Sheet will keep track of you mileage and progress.

  • Run 100 miles in 37 Days! Only 2.7 Miles a day for 37 Days!

Also, it’s super fun to share your activities on the Holiday 100 Facebook Group. It is great to see where everyone is running, and gets you motivated to run yourself. The Holiday 100 is a great way to get you outside, and keeps you active on these short winter days. Happy Holidays! Cant believe Turkey Day is coming up!🦃
