“I set this up for my 18 yo son. Andrew was wonderful to work with. He communicated everything needed and was very knowledgeable. We are from Michigan so for me to leave my son with a stranger from across the country, I was feeling a bit uneasy. Andrew put me to ease immediately. I would highly recommend him. Kai was with Andrew and this is what he said. “Andrew knows his stuff. I learned about the area, hiking skills and more. He was super nice and treated me well. I LOVED hearing all of his stories. He has been everywhere. If you are considering doing this hike.. do it. You wont regret it.”

“I decided to hike early in the morning to celebrate my birthday. I’m not much of a morning person but it was definitely worth it! I hadn’t hikes in years but Andrew made it seem like it was a breeze. Andrew was really friendly and made me comfortable right away. It was like hiking with a friend. I enjoyed our philosophical conversations and traveling stories. He also shared his knowledge on Mt. Cowles and other mountains around SD. Highly recommend joining Andrew’s hike if you’re in SD!”

“What a wonderful way to start my day! Andrew met me at the easy to find trailhead at 5:30am and we started up using the light from his lamp. Nice moderate hike with great views but the high point, pardon the pun, was the wealth of knowledge Andrew shared. Not only about the hike itself, but all the other peaks and potential hikes in the greater San Diego area. He’s skilled, he’s certified and very pleasant. Hope to hike with him again!”

“Super hike with a great guy. Andy was knowledgable about San Diego and the area we were hiking. Lots of info on all the mountain peaks and other walks to be found in this locaton. We took it steady all the way to the top, stopping on the way to catch breath and the odd photo.. At the top we had green tea and watched the sunrise, superb! I’d thoroughly recommend this Experience whilst staying in San Diego...”
